Buyer Beware If You Are Considering The Purchase of Planon RC800!,
Please be advised of the following information and advisory concerning especially the Planon Docupen RC800!
In good faith I purchased 3 of these Planon DocuPen RC800 hand held color scanners from Planon Solution Systems and all three were defective straight form the Chinese factory! The factory in China has no quality control whatsoever and Planon will not honor it’s Implied Legal Warranty under United States Federal Statutes and they,the merchant for said device, Planon Solution Systems, are located in Ontario Canada.
What are the odds against getting 3 inherently defective RC800 hand held color scanners in a row packaged and hermetically sealed directly from the factory in China? The odds against receiving three inherently defective Planon DocuPen RC8000 color hand held scanners are astronomical!
The first RC800 hand scanner was physically crushed at the factory, but hermetically sealed and packaged then sent anyway! Wasn’t that nice of them! This flimsy device is thrown together with a lick and promise, made with ZERO QUALITY CONTROL andPlanon System BLATANTLY DISREGARDS the US LEGAL WARRANTY!
The above evidence demonstrates that Planon System Solutions, Inc shows blatant disregard for the U.S. Federal Law regarding the Legal Statute for Implied warranty, which supercedes any company policy. Planon Solutions,Inc. is guilty of dealing in bad faith, consumer fraud and other violations of U.S. Federal Legal Statutes.
Is is possible that maybe, that is why Planon System Solutions, Inc. is located outside the United States Legal Jurisdiction in Ontario Canada?

Please let us know if your RC800 fails. If if fails don’t send it back for about another 3 month wait for a replacement. The replacement will probable fail and now they will tell you their warranty no longer will cover you. This company is a scammer and will not hesitate to rip you off.

Hi, I got ripped off big time by Planon Solutions Systems. They sent me three defective Docupen RC800 Color Hand Held Scanners. In good faith I waited about 3 months each time for a total of 3 replacement RC800 Color Hand Held Scanners and all three were badly defective. Get this, the first one was crushed at the factory and they hermetically sealed,packaged sent it to me anyway. I waited for two years to get a good one and now they said their warranty is no longer valid because it’s after 60 days. I was never able to use any of them and waited patiently for two year in good faith believing their promises to send a good one.
If you got ripped off by Planon Solution Systems, who will not honor the US Legal Warranty please let us know about your experience.
If you haven’t purchased one yet, remember they are outside US Jurisdiction and their word to make your Docupen good is worthless. They remind me of local con artist. You know they are lying to you but you want to believe they are dealing with you in good faith. Don’t say you were not warned!
